We can carry out specialist repairs to roofs and gutters as long as they are intact. We can treat the interior of gutters to stop the leaks that cause the lichen to grow on the outside of the walls and the mould to grow on the inside of the building. We can treat concrete guttering or cast iron just as easily as plastic gutters. This service is especially useful if you have an older building with ornate guttering, and where the guttering is an important feature of the building. the following pictures are of an old concrete gutter that has produced a severe mould problem internally, due to its age the joints have cracked and normal repairs have proven not to work as efficiently as they should.       

The Lichen on buildings similar to this can easily be controlled, first priority is to cure the cause, secondly to clean off and treat the lichen, so that it does not grow back, the next stage is to repair the damaged wall and finally the whole area requires sealing so that any future water does not ingress and any dampness already in the fabric of the building can vent outwards.
